Mesh

I've begun on the Mesh Tool Assignment on Illustrator. I chose the Cow Kettle as my object. I started out fine, I placed the photo, then I made it a template and then used the pen tool and separated all the different sections into different layers. I was doing fine, but I ran into a problem I can't seem to fix.. For some reason the shapes don't show the fill color at all. They do on the layer box, but I can't see them on Illustrator even when I hide the original photo. But, here's what I have so far:

   On a separate note, I still have not picked my photo for the Photoshop experimentation exercise for Tuesday. If it MUST be the same photograph cut into 6 separate compositions, I might work with a portrait of some sort, I think that will be interesting. We'll see!
